My doctor said my level of Vitamin D is only 15, and ideally, it should be over 40, with 30 being lowest on the scale. He prescribed 50,000 International Units of Vitamin D pill to be taken once per week. I am also hypothyroid (Hashimoto’s Disease) and take synthroid, and have severe osteoarthritis and have chronic tendinitis. Please tell me if taking the Vitamin D greatly improved your health. Thanks so much!
