Can cats suffer from vitamin d deficiency? ?
I live in a VERY dark apartment and I’m wondering if he could be suffering from vitamin d deficiency. And if he was, what would the symptoms be, how could I tell?

Highly unlikely if your cats eats a good quality cat food.
Yes, they can but they won’t if they get good quality cat food. Cats are basically nocturnal animals so your cat should be fine in your dark apartment.
Yes cats can get a deficiency just as we can. It is called rickets. My suggestion is to check with your vet about a vitamin supplement. I did read in the Merck Veterinary manual that if you are feeding your pet standard store bought pet food it should contain all the nutrients your pet needs. But if you are concerned your vet can suggest a supplement.
